Primary cutaneous cryptococcosis was confirmed using pathological biopsy, special staining, tissue culture, and fungal sequencing. The patient received a therapeutic intervention involving the administration of the antifungal agent itraconazole. Substantial amelioration of cutaneous manifestations was observed after a 3-month course of treatment. After an elapsed interval, the patient was diagnosed with esophageal tumor.
