Abstract

One of the highly sought products for import substitution in Russia are polyurethanes, which are mainly produced from isocyanates. Today, isocyanates are produced using toxic phosgene, and the by-products of this production are hydrogen chloride and other toxic chlorinated derivatives. For this reason, the task of developing phosgene-free isocyanate production technology has been facing researchers for more than a decade.Hexamethylene-1,6-diisocyanate (HDI) is the most commonly used aliphatic isocyanate.
