The Global Initiative for Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease (GOLD) Report provides a review of the most current evidence for prevention of COPD as well as the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of people with the disease. Abstract: Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is one of the top three causes of death throughout the world.
