Abstract
Baorangia albostipitata sp. nov. from India is proposed based on morphological and molecular phylogenetic data. The species is characterized by a pinkish pileus with yellowish pileal margin, whitish pileal context that changes to pale blue very slowly on bruising or cut, yellowish hymenophore without any color change on bruising or cut, whitish stipe that changes to bright orange when bruised, and subglobose to ellipsoid basidiospores. Detailed descriptions, macrophotographs, illustrations and comparisons with similar species are presented.
