Abstract

This article explores a specific case study that examines controllability and observability in general and in specific so that it is easy for the reader to understand these two concepts, which are fundamental in optimal control theory. Algorithms have been written to determine the controllability and observability of optimal control systems using the MATLAB programming language, and new techniques have been developed to deal with them.
