Abstract
In the complex landscape of healthcare, the fusion of scientific expertise and compassionate human interaction is essential for fostering a patient-centered approach. Radiology nursing, with its focus on diagnostic imaging, is an integral part of the healthcare ecosystem. The purpose of this paper lies in illustrating how a relational leadership approach such as human-centered leadership in health care supports the synthesis of science and humanity in radiology nursing. We will explore the technical and relational aspects of this nursing specialty and identify how human-centered leadership in health care enables radiology nurses to deliver technically excellent, meticulous care while remaining present and emotionally attuned to each patient as a unique human being.
