Abstract
A little over 5% of females develop an inguinal hernia. In adult females, it is quite uncommon to have an indirect inguinal hernia with an imprisoned fallopian tube and ovary. In this case, a 28-year-old female patient with a left indirect inguinal hernia and a hernia sac containing a left ovary and fallopian tube is described. After the contents of the pelvic cavity were repositioned, a left hernioplasty was performed. Timely treatment procedures are necessary to provide prompt surgical intervention and reduce the risk of ovarian damage and subsequent infertility.
