Understand professional versus personal authenticity

Abstract

Authenticity is a concept that's gained traction in recent years as people work to fully express who they are and what their values are. I think of authenticity as a spectrum, ranging from an almost prisoner-like constrained existence to a free-love anything-goes existence. In relation to the workplace, I have concerns about the extremes of this spectrum.
