Abstract
Although SARS-CoV-2 infection primarily affects the cardiovascular and respiratory systems, there have been increasing reports of a variety of neurological symptoms following COVID–19. In this report, we present the case of a 54-year-old man who experienced significant choreiform gait disturbance nearly three months following a severe symptomatic SARS-CoV-2 infection. We discuss the potential causes of chorea and give an overview of the movement disorders that may occur after COVID–19, along with their suggested pathogenesis. Orv Hetil. 2024; 165(29): 1130–1134.
