By examining recent advancements and outcomes from trials focusing on these targets, the review aims to elucidate their efficacy and potential as disease-modifying therapies.</p><p>Furthermore, the review explores the concept of multi-target approaches, emphasizing their relevance in tackling the complex pathology of PD. Parkinson’s Disease (PD) remains a significant focus of extensive research aimed at developing effective therapeutic strategies. Current treatments primarily target symptom management, with limited success in altering the course of the disease. This shortfall underscores the urgent need for novel therapeutic approaches that can modify the progression of PD.
