The subject of study are the victims of such violations and their next of kin, who are entitled to adequate, effective and proportional economic reparation.The temporal context of the research covers the period between 2010 and 2023, which corresponds to the period in which the IACHR Court has issued judgments on economic reparations, while the geographical scope covered is Ecuador, the coun-try taken as the case study. The methodology used is qualitative, descriptive and analytical, as well as comparative.
