Several reasons underpin this, primarily technical challenges, and a longstanding reliance on conventional and morphological evaluations of soft tissue and bone lesions. Experienced radiologists often assert that these advanced sequences do not offer added diagnostic value, claiming that a morphological approach suffices. However, in our opinion, the role of these advanced MRI sequences extends beyond merely naming an MSK lesion.
