Abstract

Sodium-Ion Batteries

Sodium-ion batteries are considered sustainable alternatives to Li-ion batteries in large scale applications including electric vehicles. However, the development of Li-ion battery cathodes took over 30 years. In article number 2400296, Eric McCalla and co-workers accelerate the development of Na-ion cathodes by testing hundreds of materials in high-throughput to yield an optimal composition.
