Abstract
Kentucky has failed to provide adequate community-based services to prevent the hospitalization of adults with serious mental illness, resulting in unnecessary segregation in psychiatric hospitals in the Louisville/Jefferson County metro area, according to a new report released last month by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ).
