However, no significant difference was observed at the postpartum follow-up visit (29.9% vs 25.74%; RR 1.61, 95% CI 0.74-1.82). The primary reasons for not selecting contraceptive implants were concerns about potential side effects and discomfort associated with the insertion procedure.\r\n\r\nCONCLUSION\r\nThe inclusion of an animated educational video significantly improved immediate postpartum contraceptive implant uptake, making it a potentially viable strategy in settings with high rates of loss to follow-up. Abstract
OBJECTIVE
To assess the impact of an educational video on immediate postpartum contraceptive implant utilization.
METHODS
