Neurological examination revealed asymmetrical parkinsonism and pyramidal syndrome, reflex myoclonus and dystonia of her left upper limb, accompanied by apraxia of her left lower limb, fulfilling the criteria for possible CBS. Neuroimaging showed asymmetric frontoparietal atrophy, while cerebrospinal fluid and dopamine transporter imaging were normal. Prior to our evaluation, antineuronal autoantibody testing indicated positive anti-Yo antibodies. Abstract

Introduction: Corticobasal syndrome (CBS) is a rare form of atypical parkinsonism, most commonly caused by neurodegenerative disorders. Autoimmune underlying conditions are extremely rare, and anti-Yo antibody-associated CBS has not been reported yet.
