The oxalate precursor was analyzed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA). The as-synthesized cadmium molybdate was characterized by Raman spectroscopy (RS), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and Energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX). Its catalytic activity was tested by the oxidation reaction of methylene blue (MB) dye in the presence of hydrogen peroxide. Abstract
