Abstract
This article aims to underscore the transformative role of the New Nurse Manager Residency Program in preparing the new nurse manager (NM) to lead within a complex health system. In alignment with multiple partners under the umbrella of a more prominent Nursing Leadership Academy, a health-developed program, this strategic initiative plays a pivotal role in preparing and supporting our newest NMs at the beginning of their leadership careers, much like novice nurses at the beginning of their nursing careers.
