Increasing unprecedented reactivities and reactions of organosulfur compounds have been unearthed, which are distinguished from their conventional ionic reactivity. Organosulfur compounds, especially sulfur ylides and sulfonium salts, offer extraordinary potential in organic chemistry due to their distinctive structural properties and reactivities.
