This meta-analysis assesses the recent Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved antifungal, rezafungin, for treating candidemia and invasive candidiasis-both are significant health concerns with limited treatment options. Two randomized controlled trials comparing rezafungin to caspofungin were meta-analyzed, revealing no significant differences in global cure rates and 30-day all-cause mortality.
