Abstract

Because of recent advances in energy device technology, ablation has become popular worldwide. It is less invasive and provides faster postoperative recovery compared to surgery, and therefore, it has come to be applied to a wide range of organs, such as liver, lung, kidney, thyroid, and bone/soft tissue tumors.
