Nabil, “Carbetocin Versus Rectal Misoprostol for Management of Third Stage of Labor Among Women With Low Risk of Postpartum Hemorrhage,” International Journal of Gynecology & Obstetrics 148, no. 2 (2020): 238–242, https://doi.org/10.1002/ijgo.13056.

This Expression of Concern is for the above article, published online on 02 December 2019 in Wiley Online Library (wileyonlinelibrary.com), and has been published by agreement between the journal Editor-in-Chief, Michael Geary; the International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics; and John Wiley & Sons Ltd. The Expression of Concern has been published due to concerns raised by a third party regarding inconsistencies in the clinical trial registration date of the study. The authors confirmed the error in the original registration year and stated that the clinical trial was prospectively registered. The authors were unable to provide the ethical approval, the patient consent documentation, and the raw data of the article for review as the study was conducted more than 5 years ago and the original data was no longer retained according to institutional policies. The authors' institute remained unresponsive. Due to the absence of supporting documentation, the journal team could not verify the authors' explanation. Therefore, the journal has decided to issue an Expression of Concern to inform and alert the readers.
