Abstract

In this communication, an active cloak for an object in uniform translation is designed. Utilizing the special theory of relativity, the cloak could be designed conventionally in the co-moving frame, while it is shown that the object is also cloaked in the stationary frame. Next, an active cloak for a moving PEC sphere is designed as an example. Finally, some numerical results are given to show the effectiveness of the cloak in suppressing the scattering of the moving sphere.
