Investigation of CST7 and hsa-miR-4793-5p gene expression in breast cancer

The study population included 60 fresh BC tissue samples and adjacent normal tissues as control. The Quantitative Real-Time PCR was used to evaluate the expression levels of CST7 and has-miR-4793-5p in the breast tissues.</div><div>The present study, found that CST7 and hsa-miR-4793-5p were significantly increased in tumoral tissues in compare to normal tissues. Further analysis revealed a remarkable association between CST7 and hsa-miR-4793-5p gene expression alteration. ROC curve analysis demonstrated high accuracy for CST7 expression in BC tumors. Comparison of gene expression between different stages and patient family history showed significant findings.
