The above article, published online on 23 February 2016 in Wiley Online Library (wileyonlinelibrary.com), has been retracted by agreement between the journal Editor-in-Chief, Michael Geary; the International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics; and John Wiley & Sons Ltd. The retraction has been agreed following an investigation based on concerns raised by a third party. Although the paper does not specify which statistical methods were used, the editors found that numerous results could not be reproduced from the summary data using t-tests or chi-squared tests. The author was invited to comment on the concerns and provide supporting data but did not respond. The editors consider the results and conclusion reported in this article unreliable.
