The risk factors for CVST, emerging and current treatment of CVST, and CVST related to COVID-19 and COVID-19 vaccines are the major potential research hot spots and trends.Conclusions: CVST is a rapidly expanding research area and has received increasing attention by the researchers. Abstract

Background: Cerebral venous sinus thrombosis (CVST) is an uncommon form of cerebrovascular disease. Although our understanding of CVST has improved significantly over the past decades, there has been no bibliometric analysis of CVST until now.
