Abstract
Nineteen species of the genus Discheramocephalus Johnson have been identified from the Afrotropical, Australasian, Indomalayan, and Neotropical regions. According to distribution of the previously known species and some undescribed species, Discheramocephalus has been suggested to be a pantropical genus. Herein, the first Palearctic species, Discheramocephalus jaeseoki sp. nov., has been described from the Korean Peninsula. Illustrations of its habitus and diagnostic characters, a distributional map, and an annotated taxonomic catalogue of the genus Discheramocephalus are also provided.
