To achieve this aim, the article explains the origin of SSO and outlines how incorporating a BESS can effectively ease it. To evaluate the feasibility of this proposal, we conduct extensive simulations on a power system integrating energy-distributed resources from DFIG-based wind farms, employing a BESS to compensate for SSO induced by a series-compensated transmission line.
