Abstract
The median age of patients at diagnosis of mitochondrial neurogastrointestinal encephalomyopathy was 25 years. The most common neurological symptoms were leukoencephalopathy (83.1%), polyneuropathy (68.5%), and ptosis/ophthalmoparesis (61.8%).
