Abstract
The Cover Feature illustrates efficient and fast energy transfer from a tetraarylpyrrolo[3,2-b]pyrrole (TAPP) unit to a BODIPY moiety in a TAPP–BODIPY dyad placed in the middle. The central TAPP unit does not fluoresce upon excitation with blue light, rather it transfers its excitation energy to the connected BODIPY moieties. As a result, a high-intensity greenish-yellow fluorescence from the BODIPY moieties is observed. Most importantly, energy transfer from the TAPP to BODIPY moieties is lightning fast (femtosecond timescale), as depicted in the graphic. More information can be found in the Research Article by R. Ghosh, S. Mula and co-workers (DOI: 10.1002/chem.202402669).
