The association shows robustness across various TMD diagnoses and trauma locations, remaining not only immediately following the direct orofacial macrotrauma but also after long time, despite other interventions. Abstract

Objectives: Temporomandibular disorders (TMD) are musculoskeletal conditions with a multifactorial aetiology.
