Abstract

Spatiotemporally controlled orthogonal regulation of cGAS–STING stimulation has been achieved in the Research Article (e202417916) by Xiangfei Li, Fangzhi Yu and Lele Li. In the approach, enzyme-triggered DNA assembly allows the cGAS–STING stimulation, while light-induced fragmentation of the double-stranded DNA enables termination of such stimulation, thereby achieving orthogonal control over the immune regulation.
