Abstract
Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is a common and complex medical sleep condition in adults that is associated with chronic medical and mental health conditions. Left undiagnosed and untreated it can decrease quality of life and increase morbidity and mortality. Dentists are at the forefront for screening OSA in their role to maintain the health of the oral cavity. Clinical experience in the management of OSA in dentists is limited.
