Abstract
A palladium-catalyzed three-component reaction of aryl-thianthrenium salts, norbornene/diphenylacetylene, and hexamethyldisilane has been developed for the assembly of highly functionalized disilanes, in which two C-Si bonds and one C-C bond are constructed. Meanwhile, various functional groups are tolerated and the desired products are obtained in moderate to high yields.
