Abstract

We engineered a specialized actinomycete cell factory, 306A, optimized for the efficient production of PoTeMs. By introducing the heterologous biosynthetic gene cluster fla from marine-derived Streptomyces flavogriseus SCSIO 40032—akin to a factory receiving a production order—the biosynthetic machinery functions like an assembly line.
