Abstract
Intersectionality allows nurses to be attuned to the many forms of social marginality present in society that ultimately impact upon health and well-being. However, while intersectionality is often named and well-defined in terms of the theoretical implications, less direction is provided regarding how these principles are actualized in various methodological approaches. This article presents our experiences as a large team of researchers working with a variety of marginalized populations in living out intersectionality in nursing research. We explore a variety of different methods and analysis approaches and how intersectionality is integrated in an authentic and meaningful way.
