Abstract

PET imaging enables the spatiotemporal assessment of tumor biomarkers. In this issue, Kong and colleagues describe the clinical PET imaging of tumor-associated fibroblasts, which improved the diagnostic accuracy and management of a subset of patients with medullary thyroid carcinoma.
