Abstract

A robotic lung transplant presents a viable and innovative alternative to traditional open surgery, providing notable advantages in terms of surgical precision, enhanced patient recovery and improved wound healing. This article details a standardized, step-by-step robotic-assisted technique, strategic port placement, dissection of pulmonary vessels and sequential anastomoses. With the goals of establishing and refining this minimally invasive approach, this technique sets a foundation for further advancements in complex surgical procedures.
