Respiratory distress was caused by pharyngeal stenosis and laryngomalacia, which gradually worsened, necessitating a scheduled tracheostomy at 1 year and 7 months of age. We performed whole-exome sequencing and identified a novel de novo nonsense variant in <i>HNRNPU</i>.
