Abstract
Encysted pneumomediastinum with septations is an extremely rare phenomenon. Talc treatment can leak through fistulous tracts to the mediastinum, walling off air collection, which is not commonly described in the literature. Clinicians should be aware of this complication, as these can be easily missed, causing complications.
