Drug and Alcohol Facts Week

Abstract

This week is National Drug and Alcohol Facts Week (NDAFW), an annual event focused on the science of drug use and addiction. The focus is on educating youth and empowering them to make informed decisions, according to the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), which sponsors the week. Organizations are encouraged to register their events. In exchange, they will receive the following benefits: a listing on NIDA's online events map, the ability to connect with NIDA staff who can offer assistance and answer questions, and increasing visibility of the organzation.
