Pythium myriotylum is a major pathogen responsible for the post-harvest losses of ginger rhizomes. Developing effective antifungal materials to protect the ginger rhizome from infestation is crucial. This study aims to synthesise and evaluate chitosan-PVA-based bionanocomposite films incorporated with turmeric oil (TO) and zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnONPs) for their antifungal efficacy against P. myriotylum.
