Abstract
Sexual assault is a major violation of human rights affecting 20% of Australian women. Research shows that these women are at higher risk of gynaecological complaints. As gynaecologists, to minimise impact and recurrence of sexual trauma, it is important to address a history of sexual trauma through a trauma informed multidisciplinary care approach.
