Abstract

This letter presents a compact 77 GHz millimeter-wave comb antenna, exhibiting suppressed side-lobe and enhanced gain. In the conventional tapered comb antenna, a lager-width of the radiating stub performs a decreased resonance ability. By loading coupling patches and cutting notches on the elements, it is possible to increase the resonant ability and design an antenna array with a satisfying radiation pattern and gain.
