Abstract
Cobbaert, L., P. Hay, P. B. Mitchell, S. J. Roza, and I. Perkes. 2024. “Sensory Processing Across Eating Disorders: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis of Self-Report Inventories.” International Journal of Eating Disorders 57, no. 7: 1465–1488. https://doi.org/10.1002/eat.24184.
In Table 2 (pp. 1474–1475), the multidimensional assessment of interoceptive awareness (MAIA) is included in two columns, AN (anorexia nervosa) and HC (healthy control). The MAIA data columns related to Martini et al.'s (2021) paper (https://doi.org/10.1002/erv.2863) have been switched, so that the data related to AN (means, standard deviations) were reported as HC data, and the HC data as AN data. However, our interpretation remains valid.
The correct values are as follows:
It should also be noted that Martini et al.'s (2021) paper reverses MAIA scores, such that a higher score indicates lower interoceptive awareness, which is the opposite of the typical MAIA scoring protocol.
