Abstract

In this letter, we propose a modified cloud radio access network (CRAN) configuration to enhance vehicular connectivity. The proposed CRAN integrates sub-6 GHz through Macro-Remote Radio Heads (M-RRHs) and terahertz (THz) waves with Terahertz Stations (TSs). Besides, to effectively utilize the potential of THz and sub-6 GHz bands, we consider the two distinct traffic zones (i.e., dense zone and sparse zones).
