Abstract

This study was undertaken to investigate aclacinomycin distribution in the rat, using a method based on the histofluorescence of tissues treated in vivo with anthracyclines. The target organs were the kidney, lung and pancreas; a fainter fluorescence was also detected in the heart compared with adriamycin due to a quantitatively different fixing of the two anthracyclines.
