The peptide was assembled on a polydimethylacrylamide kieselguhr support by using 9-fluorenylmethoxycarbonyl amino acid pentafluorophenyl esters. The crude peptide, obtained after trifluoroacetic acid cleavage, was purified by gel filtration and by reverse-phase HPLC.
