Guinea pigs immunized with live varicella vaccine virus showed positive DTH and LTF responses to viral antigen as well as a neutralizing (NT) antibody response, while those immunized with heat-inactivated vaccine virus showed only an NT antibody response of the same degree as that to live vaccine virus. Abstract
