Categories and compartments have been presented in order to assist one with the myriad of possible diagnostic tests and therapeutic modalities. The etiology and treatment of this common gynecologic symptom is reviewed in order to provide a working knowledge base for the nurse. Abstract
One of the greatest challenges to health-care providers for women is the diagnostic evaluation and treatment of secondary amenorrhea in an efficient, cost-effective, and timely fashion. Categories and compartments have been presented in order to assist one with the myriad of possible diagnostic tests and therapeutic modalities.
